A little something I have been working on today for Alfred v1 - URL History.
Alfred already allows you to type URLs into him, from v1 he will remember the URLs you type. I know, I know… web browsers have been doing this for ages, but this turns Alfred a bit more into a unified url / search bar (thanks to the fallback searches) but for whichever browser you currently have set as default.
As history items are shown as you type, it is also a good way of quickly adding bookmarks to Alfred. Type preppeller.tumblr.com into Alfred, then this web address will show next time I start typing ‘preppeller’.
Finally, I have made the URL detection a little more relaxed so you can now type any kind of URL into him, even local URLs for things like twitter: or message:
